Where's the band field?
Re: Where's the band field?
Haven't heard anything about colorguard or most woodwinds.

Tenors look like 13-14 assuming all goes as planned so far. I don't know much about the altos, but if 25 is true that'd be freakin sweet. It'd be like my high school band's giant size all over again

Re: Where's the band field?
the trumpet section this year is going to be ridiculous in size. We have over 20 vets returning so i think we can continue the success we had last year. Currently, we have 27 registered for FMB and a list of 11 or so people who said yes but just haven't registered.
Are we slowly moving toward an all brass band? SAY IT'S SO! PLEASE!

Re: Where's the band field?
Even though I'm a Maggot, this is not something I want to see. I enjoy the fact that we have a symphonic sound and not a loud obnoxious brassy sound like a certain other band that thinks it's the best in the land....Bigcman0789 wrote:Are we slowly moving toward an all brass band? Personally, I like being in a band. If I wanted all brass, I would've marched drum corps...
Not that I have anything against drum corps

Ha! Please. If you want to be a member or a fan of an all-brass collegiate band, I've heard there's a semi-decent one somewhere in Ohio.Bigcman0789 wrote:
