I have to second John's post in just about every statement except I think the Bluecoats were the best and rightfully wonjg4242 wrote:It was FANTASTIC!! My other thought on the whole affair was how surreal it was to see someone else marching on that field... I'm so used to being out on it that seeing other groups out there was a little... weird! Still, a great opportunity to showcase our program, the stadium, and the University.
I think as both of us have been in FMB for 4 years and marching band for 8 years total, seeing other groups perform on a home field was quite weird...
I stood in the stadium with the contingent of FMB people playing the Star Spangled Banner and thought how strange it's going to be when fall comes around and I'm not in the band... It will be the first football game I'll ever attend as a regular spectator... John said it best - surreal...
