The worst part is - I think we are finally getting back to the level of FMB I remember. This is the best time to reconnect with alums, especially those who became disenfranchised in the late 90s

The post-game social would be great to bring back. I'm disappointed I missed out on that.

That started going away when I was in school. It was when the campus "went dry."

There is a post game social for just alumns - and it's a very good time, by the way. But I really want to get back to BG to "get back to BG."

Ya know?

I hear ya, there could always be an 'unofficial gathering' with milk and cookies abound.

I remember the annual 'Buffo' Party that night after the game. It was so much fun (from what I can remember in my alcoholic haze). Honestly, I think the 'glue' is gone between alumni and current FMB members. I think Mr. Kelly had a lot to do with that, no matter how long ago you graduated he always remembered your name and made you feel welcome. I marched in alumni band maybe 2 years ago, I knew very few people and it was very disconnected - they had us sit apart from the regular FMB and play on our own instead of with them. What fun is that? Plus I HATE those damn orange jackets.
