I know a few years ago when part of the Michigan State Band traveled to Hawaii for a bowl game they didn't bring uniforms. I would geuss that had more to do with flying and that they only took a large pep. I think they all got matching green Hawaiian shirts though. Thats the only time I can think of when a band didn't wear uniforms at a Bowl Game.

I think we should all get matching mardi gras masks to wear during the parade. Masks that don't interfere with our peripheral vision, of course...

Watching you all in the field house the other day leads me to ask what peripheral vision?

Oh, shush. You would've been just as bad if you'd been out there (as I assume you weren't since you said watching). Everyone out of practice, and in the fieldhousefieldhousefieldhouse, and with Erin absent? Eeeyeah.

Funny thing was, as soon as we all stopped paying attention so hard, it came together.

Maybe you shouldn't just assume I would be just as bad. My high school sucked at everything but low-step marching and we did tons of parades every year. I can do pin wheel turns really easy whether I'm on the ends or in the middle. Some people just have to learn the idea of not swinging out when you go around turns. When they do swing out, they end up having to take bigger steps and make it impossible to keep the straight line they should. The people on the inside were taking huge steps too when they should be taking small enough steps to look like a stand still mark time. Solve that and the people in the middle will have a lot better chances of watching side-to-side and then ta da, a straight line!

I wish I would have known when practice was. Since I cannot make it to the game, and I am sure you will not get the TV time you are due I would have liked to have seen the FMB one more time. Oh well, knock them dead down there

Maybe we should bring the band to you! I'm still up to bringing a band to a gymnastics meet but that idea got shot down real fast
