Classic. Hehe. Any time I hear that song I say that line instead of the real words- you just have to!!Shakeatailfeather04 wrote:And the "You've been hit by, you've been struck by...B! G!" during Smooth Criminal. Oh, Huto. *shakes head*
Wow, did we really say that on the field? Does anyone remember how the crowd reacted? If they were even paying attention, and if we said it loud enough for them to hear us, that is...

Yes we did that on the field...twice. Once as part of our 1st show, which was something of a preview of the season since it was on a Thursday of the first week of classes. Then we brought it back as part of the homecoming show. If I remember right, this was another classic "Toney" idea; good in concept, bad in reality. I don't know if we said it loud enough to really be effective, and I remember my non marching band friends asking me afterwards "What the f***?"

And while the music was being played I talked with fellow students about the video games. I can't wait for this weeks halftime show. Keep it up!

Actually, you might want to sit closer to the field for this show. There won't really be any interesting marching formations that would normally make sitting at the top of the stadium a good idea. There is, however, a lot of dancing, movement and vocals that will probably be experienced better close-up.
