YOU BOTH KNOW WHAT I MEANT!!!
lol, FINE. No current FMB member was in the band when it was the custom to march postgame at home games.
Happy now?

Ha, we didn't do postgame back then either. Jason Jordan just started saying it because occasionally HuTo would threaten postgame and none of us wanted to do it. That season (2000), ALL the games were like the last two! I think we might have done it once that year. All I remember is that it was the last home game and the seniors ran around yelling "BEER!" during Beer Barrel.

Didn't they used to march postgame at one time? I swear I heard that from somewhere. Either way, the point still stands that none of us really know why we say, "What, no postgame?" We just say it. That started in 2000?Shakeatailfeather04 wrote:Ha, we didn't do postgame back then either. Hmmmm..... methinks I might start a thread asking about how FMB traditions began............. *raises eyebrows*

I think they did do postgame regularly before my freshman year, but that year it sort of died out. I feel like maybe they only did postgame after they won and that didn't happen very often.
"What? No postgame?" started in 2000, yep. Jason Jordan- a maggot- started saying it as a rumor so that people would think we weren't doing postgame. It got to be a big joke pretty quickly and we would say it during the 4th quarter of just about every game.

We did postgame after every single home game in 1995. We would line up in the block and play a tune to the west side and then one to the east side, and back again and again. After we were done playing Dr. Rohr would say "Forward by 5's," we would all growl, and scatter into position. Then we would march out of the stadium and over to the Ice Arena where we would be dismissed. But sadly, that was another time.
