Oh, I forgot about those tunes. I hated At The Hop, but Shout was so much fun...the chord was the best part!

Do they still make the trip books when the band travels - remember the pages and pages of 'Rumors'? I was in charge of printing those for 3 years when I was there, I still have some old copies of them....still make me laugh.
I still have a couple of those books. I never had any dirty rumors about me.

Rats!

I'll have to dig them up and post some of the rumors.

We don't have official band trip books, but a lot of sections make their own.

What was the "rumors" page?

We had an "official" trip book in 2000 on one of the 8987234 trips we took that year. Sadly, it was rather lame. Anyway, I guess that's the last time there was an official trip book.

Rumor were just something that was true but stated in a rumor type formate.

Let's take another post we had regarding 'clean things said.'
All rumors start with this phrase: "Rumor has it.........."

"Rumor has it that Dr T likes the 18 inchers."

You take something which happened and write it as a rumor.

There was Trip Book for the Marshall Trip in '01. I'd have to look and see if I still have it.

Hhhmmm...I definitely don't remember a Marshall trip book....

That doesn't mean there wasn't one, of course. I'm old now

I don't know anything about these section trip books that you speak of. I sure wish the Maggots would get around to having something like that...

The 'rumors' section of the trip book was canned during the '93 season. It went from being good clean (and sometimes otherwise) fun, to just plain mean. People were taking cheap shots at others in the book for everyone to see.

I'm not sure either, but I wonder....does it have anything to do with the 'no solids' rule?
