I still stand by my assertion that there ain't no way you can chairstep at high speeds in an inch or more of mud, and NOT get spattered almost up to your knees.
If, of course, you're doing it right....

first off, and yes i'm being a bit anal-retentive here, i have not marched only cymbals in the 8 years i've marched. i've also played snare, quads and bass, even tried that field commander thing once. who says cymbals dont move? we move all the time...sometimes more than anyone else. emphasis on sometimes. even when we stand still, we still move. but whatev.baritonebandgeek wrote:Of course you didn't get anything on your pants...you played the cymbals, I mean, how often do they move?JUST KIDDING! You're like, awesome at the cymbals. Please don't hurt me.
...you got somethin on your nose....yea right there.

Okay, I have yet to see a uniform that makes white pants look good. That's a more accurate statement.PresBG wrote:and jackie, there are SOME uniforms that make white pants look good, you're just not used to it. my high school uniform WAS NOT one of them however. of course, you do come from spats & crossbelt country.
And I must say that what I miss the most from my high school uniform is the spats- so snazzy. Very F. Scott Fitzgerald. 8) It was also pretty entertaining to watch new members try to put on their crossbelts for the first time... kind of reminds me of the "left and right cords" from our old uniforms. *Sigh* Messing with nugeyes never gets old.

lolololol....
For most of my nugeye year, I ashamedly held the secret in my heart that I couldn't tell the left and right cords apart. I would just bend them the right way and hope no one would notice whether or not they were right or wrong.

That doesn't look like Miami's uniforms at all.jg4242 wrote:3 words:Okay, I have yet to see a uniform that makes white pants look good. That's a more accurate statement.
