Show Idea!!

Post by Falcons4Life »

I know my ideas will never get accomplished....but this is IMHO as sweet idea for a show!!! And one that will make musicianship and audience pleasure find a middleground!!!

A MEATLOAF SHOW!!!!

Think about it....a medly of Bat out of Hell, Paradise by the dashboard lights, and I would do anything for love!!

Holy crap...I would cream my trouble making shorts, and possibly even drive from Kansas to see that show!!!

To those in high positions....consider it...it would be unbeleivable!!

You know, that's a pretty decent idea. Paradise could very well be the most humorous part of the show if timed correctly.

I would omit the "[expletive] NO!" male portion of the song, however.

I'd like to see that, but I'm not sure how that would go over with the crowd. Although, I thought the Hip FMB show would flop, and people like that...

I'd like to hear some Ozzy during the hockey games. Mix in some White Stripes, GNR, Metallica, AC/DC...you'd have a hell of a show. "For Those About To Rock" played right after the National Anthem with the entire student section standing up saluting....tradition in the making.

I just want to know why the athletic bands don't play the Final Countdown. I think that is a sweet a-band song.

As long as there are better arrangements than what I played in high school, I wouldn't mind hearing that either.

I may sound like ignorant here, and it is also somewhat par for the course for me, but is that the techno style song where all the people yell along with the yelling on the recording?

Oh, and btw, I've brought up the idea of a meatloaf show to people before and for some reason I couldn't get the point of how awesome it could be accross and it was shot down violently. I felt like the genius everyone though was actually crazy for a while there, but I guess now that another crazy person is talking about it too, I can raise my head from out of shame.

I am telling you.....if you dont think it would be sweet...download those songs, and just picture a marching band playing them! Not even kidding!

Got the thought of the chorus of bat out of hell.....I am telling you.....it would leave many seats at the Doyt damp!

I'm all about opening and closing with Anything for love and having bat out of hell and paradise by the dashboard fill in the middle ground. It has everything, comedy, drama, love, teenage defiance, and great musicianship.

You're going to have to be a bit more descriptive here...
