Fundies week is coming upon us. I'm excited. I recieved my stuff in the mail on saturday. It was sweet to get it. Can't wait to see lots of you in a few weeks! Anyone hear any rumors of stuff we are playing? We got what I guess is the first show, looks cool.

i know the first show even though i didnt get my music yet

i heard rumors of the 2nd show...and i heard about the 3rd, 4th, and possibly 5th shows...but i forget what it was hahaha. oh well.

word is the 2nd show is music from the musical RENT...which excites me to no end...and kinda makes me angry...cuz there's only so much you can do with it. but hey...whatever.

like i said, i heard mention of the other shows, but completely forgot what they were so...that's all i've got for now.

show 1 is a movie show from LOTR, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Star Wars...Show 2 - Rent. Happy now?

I may know a little more about the other 2 shows that no one seems to know about, but not enough to share yet, because I want to get some facts straight before I say anything. If what I have heard is true though, I think the other 2 show will both be much better than the "Rent" show and the 1st show.

better as a whole or crowd-pleasingly better? cuz we all thought the musical show was cool...or...at least i did...but the crowd was like WTF?!

I'm not terribly excited about playing lotr music. Star wars is always an adventure however and should be interesting. Pirates of the Carribean was pretty awesome when WMU came a couple years ago and I'm sure Mr. Nowlin is a better arranger than whoever worked for WMU so that one should be fun also.

As far as rent goes, you'd think we might have learned from last years monumental failure to please the crowd with themes from musicals

It's a bit different when the musical has been made into a recent movie, though.

So those are the four shows? Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Pirates, and Rent? I'm jealous! No matter the crowd's response, that is gonna be some fun music to play!

no the first show is "Now Playing in a Stadium Near You!" which includes Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Pirates of the Carribean. There was rumor the second show is Rent... We'll find out soon though what the rest are!

Okay, I get it now. So those ARE (as rumor would have it) probably the 2nd-5th shows, though not in that order. The first show sounds like a preview show.
