nice band
You guys represented yourselves well in Columbus today. The Falcon band was very impressive. In fact, they actually woke me up this morning, practicing on the turf field below my residence hall: Morrill tower, I live on the 18th floor)
Nice job overall.

Thought:
During the game and the pregame, the Ohio State band seemed louder. Volume is something I appreciated sitting near the top row of the C deck.
One possible factor: I was essentially behind the band, in the corner.
Still, I kinda wish we were as loud as the other band in big settings like Ohio Stadium and Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Still, it was fun to have our band there. I did like the way they spelled out bgsu before the game.
(Do we not have enough members for a capital "B" and "G"?)

Not to bash woodwinds, but the OSU band sounds louder because they are all brass. Give the FMB a brass section of 200, and I have no doubt we can be louder than the OSUMB.

Hey now, watch the woodwind comments.......
I play the saxophone.....in the OSU athletic band (pep band)
I actually had to leave the game with like 6:00 left in the 4th so that I could get back to my room, change, and get to the Schott by 7 pm to play for a hockey game. It was an exibition game, won 5-1 over Guelth, from Canada.

I play clarinet in the concert bands in BG...and it's my primary instrument as well
Not knocking on woodwinds or anything. They definately help define our sound...you'll hear the announcer saying "the symphonic sound of the Falcon Marching Band" quite a bit, because we basically are a symphonic band...with all that marching stuff to go with it.
