Great job FMB!! You played in some tough, miserable conditions, but you still sounded great. I felt sorry for you marching, but I'm glad that no one fell. I really appreciated all the playing that you did in the 3rd and 4th quarters...it was nice for those of us that stayed have help keeping the spirit up.

I loved halftime!! The music sounded great! I don't know if you could hear or not, but the stands were singing along with ya'll. This was not 1 or 2 people, but whole sections of people singing along. When you watch the tape, you should be able to hear us singing with you. Kudos and see you on Sunday at Sounds of the Stadium!!

Let's just say that half-time and pregame were total disasters. If we had performed that way in good weather conditions we may have gotten booed. Between the tunnel drill being completely out of place, and the final sets for the closer being totally cadiwampus, I'm just happy we survived. Toledo will be different, there will be lines, hashes, crappy turf, and no mud. Whew, glad that night is over and done with.

I don't think it would have been as bad had there not been mud. It does wacky things.

I wasn't there; just speaking from experience.

As I was talking with Niz last night; ya'll didn't look that good. I could go on and on, but I won't. I don't believe in excuses, however I do understand the mudd. I walked across the field in the hopes of hearing Beer Barrel (which I am very disapointed that I didn't hear that or cadences) and the field was about the worse I can ever recall. I do know that things would have looked better had the weather cooperated, but such is life in BG in mid November.

However dispite looking like crap, you sounded amazing. Even with the lousy weather, it sounded GREAT!! That takes some serious gitzpa to pull that off in that pea soup. Part yourselves on your back for that. It's too bad I won't be able to make Sounds of the Stadium. I would love to hear what you guys can do in a concert setting. Good luck.

five years and millions of halftime shows later....honestly, i dont really think it was as bad as you think. yeah sure, there were some mistakes here and there....and a whole hoss-ton-O-mud....but I think we did just fine, all things considered.

and this isnt the first time we finished a game and didnt play Beer Barrel....but what do expect after coming up short in what was a tough (kinda) game? definitely a heartbreaker for the seniors.

and although i'm actually impressed with how good we actually did do...not gonna lie....i'm very disappointed in the way in which the march back to the blue light went down. unsteady tempo, half the band WALKING, and probably the thing that upset me the most was that the same half that was walking were also breaking rank. kinda embarassing too. but oh well. it happened, its over.

lets hope for clear skies, clean marching and a big a** win Tuesday night!!!

GO FALCONS!!
BEAT TOL*DO!!! (aka The Lucas County Youth Correctional Facility)

I loved the show and it sounded great from inside the press box. Congrats to the seniors and go show the marching Turds how it's done right.

Speaking of Tuesday, is the band going? I live two minutes from the stadium... so I'm thinking of swinging by.
