Remembering Lindsay I at Homecoming

For those of you who don't know (I think it was posted here, but I can't remember....), this past April a beloved sister of TBS and an FMB alum, Lindsay I, lost her battle with cancer. Lindsay was one of those people who was always positive, always smiling, always helping others and looking on the bright side. She loved BG and the FMB and looked forward to every return to campus, especially Homecoming.
When some of the sisters and I were thinking about Homecoming, we couldn't imagine letting this first Homecoming without Lindsay pass without honoring her in some way. We thought that wearing a ribbon in her favorite color would be a fitting tribute- something small for those of us who want to honor her and have her with us that day. So, Saturday we will have sage green ribbons available for anyone who would like to wear one. An announcement will be made during the alumni band rehearsal and you can get a ribbon then. You can also grab me anytime during the day and I will make sure that you get one.
Please pass this information along to anyone you wish. See you on the 29th!
