Kickin out tha jams!

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Great tunes again, band! You guys sound great. I enjoyed the post game "battle of the bands" deal. I think WMU has a very good band.

But you're still the best. :D

Thanks for the comments Freak! It really wasn't meant to be a "battle of the bands" but we couldn't let them play the last song! I was going to come talk to you before we lined up but by the time I got out in the endzone to get lined up, you were around the 30 on the South side of the stadium. But hey, I did get to see you on the big screen before the game! I don't know if you were in there for that or not but they showed you for a split second and then cut to Josh and Jake talking before showing the FalconFreak #90 jersey from the back a few times. You and your boys are famous now!!

Well, they DID end up playing the last song.... (for six minutes straight! Sheesh....) ...mostly because we basically said, "Um, okay, you guys can stay here and play to an empty stadium if you want, but we're going home now..."

The "battle of the bands" I enjoyed most was playing Eat 'Em Up right after they did..... and then playing Sportscenter after they did.... and their entire band shaking their fists at us.... now that was funny.

I'm not expert on marching bands, but was the Western band exhibiting poor manners Saturday? I can't pinpoint it, but it just seemed they were playing at inappropriate times.

Beyonce has disappeared like Jay-Z's rap career. That song is just out-of-date!!
