Are you looking for a specific part, or simply the melody written out in B.C.?
What instrument do you play?

He's a trombone player, and didn't seem too enthused about the trombone part when I sang it for him.
I imagine he'd like the melody written out for bone.

The original is in F and is in 2/4, correct?
I'll see if I can whip it up at work tomorrow.

Holy crap, its been so long since we've needed music for that I can't remember the time signature! I thought it was in half-time, but that could be go bg or any of the visitor's fight songs.

It's in 2/4 or 1/2 if you simplify.
I thought it was in the key of B-flat.

Here you go.
Ay Zig
The F above the staff might be a bit high for a beginner. I'm not sure how long you've been playing.

My son the trombone player thanks you, too.

Isn't there a measure of rest missing? Otherwise, there's no time available for "S-U!"

Definitely NOT the key of F. Listen to the end of the fanfare. F G A Bb=sol la ti do.
Try playing an F on the end. Definitely not resolved.
It's in Bb, but it moves around all over the place with all the chromatics and accidentals. It's a tricky little ditty

Totally tired and out of it when I posted last night. I was thinking fight song and was wondering why everyone was insisting on F. I guess the fight song isn't abbreviated AZZ, huh?
Agreed that AZZ is definitely in F.

Has AZZ always been played the same way? I don't need any smart azzes saying we used to start it slower then get faster every time. I thought I heard or maybe read that there was a different version that the band used to play.
