Where's the band field?

So I was driving along the melodious-smelling Poe Road this afternoon and glanced over at the band practice field only to find it GONE!!! Where's the trailer? The scaffolding? The ROCK???

The rocks are by the Southwest corner of the field house, the trailer is behind the field house, and I dunno about the scaffolding. I do know they have been planning on putting tile under that area for about 4-5 years now. I also know that leveling the fields would take near 200 tons of dirt and they wanted to wait til they tiled it before that. So maybe this is a good start of things to come, or else they are turning it into the parking lots that the Stroh will replace.

perhaps they are going to use the dirt that they'll dig up from the stroh center to level out the band fields...and yes...from what i've heard they are expanding the parking lots north of the cma. so basically they are removing field one and leaving us (the fmb) with fields two and three, which three definitely needs help regarding drainage and such...

Yardlines have become trenches and are murder on your feet, especially with our constant pivoting marching style. If the fields are leveled out, I'll be happy.

I wonder how many twisted or brocken ancles it will take until the university levels the fields....

My understanding is that we are being moved out towards the fieldhouse, and that our new field areas will be leveled and reseeded this summer. The new parking lots are going to be built where fields 1 and 2 used to be. The downside: Our new field will have been seeded for only 6 weeks before we are due to begin Fundies....
Again, this is not official, but it is what I have been able to piece together from several sources.

Again, what are they doing about drainage in that area? It's a friggin' swamp.

I can never remember which field is which, number wise. If they're paving over 1 and 2 does that mean the place where Lindsay's tree was just planted is going to be parking lot?

I didn't see a tree. Then again, I'm used to looking for the BIG tree that used to be there! *sniff*
and that'd be pretty shitty if they didn't move the tree...

I do believe that we would legally be allowed to shoot someone if that happened. Band kids take care of their own, right?
