Wood County to hand out annual 'Spirit' awards

The Wood County Commissioners are inviting area citizens to join with them in honoring the 2009 Spirit of Wood County Award recipients during a ceremony at 2 p.m. on June 14.
The ceremony will be held at the Wood County Historical Center, 13660 County Home Road, Bowling Green.
Scheduled to receive awards are Mark S. Kelly, Robert H. Bettinger, Rev. Kristel Asmus, and John Helm all of Bowling Green; Douglas Troutner of North Baltimore; and David Adams of Portage.
Posthumous awards will also be presented to Richard and David Van Vorhis and Chris Miller.
