Ohio U Marching band pre-game. Apparently they've got every band, or at least every one they could get, to send some pre-game info to make game day more accurate, and here's what they've got. This user on youtube is releasing a new one each day, so BG will hopefully be seen soon. Looking great in the new game - got a new and improved Doyt, and hopefully a new and improved Falcon Marching Band to go with it. :D

Actually, all the band animations were programmed with Pyware 3D, a Java-based drill design program. We use it here at the University, and it is by far the most popular drill software out there.

Actually enjoyed the music...but weren't there MORE than 110 musicians out on the field?

The FMB will not be in the game. EA said they contacted all 120 band director's and those who agreed were put in the game. Pictures of those included are here: From the NCAA 10 Facebook Site

OK, that is some kind of awesome. Too bad the FMB isn't in there. Ugh. Oh well.

So did Dr. Hayward not agree for some reason?

With how it was explained to me, EA sent out an invite to every school but only about 30 thought it was worth the time and effort. I think it's a real missed opportunity.

Well, we'll just have to convince her that it would be cool (and easy) to do! All we have to do is e-mail them a file.

I say we all get on that. I still think it's crap that Freddie and/or Frieda still aren't in the game... the least they could do is put in pre-game.
