Well, I've got 1989 done, but I'm still working on the rest. When I get everything done, http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/downloads/FMB/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; will be the place to go as a jumping off point for all the years I have (and that people send me).

Currently I have '89 done, '90 done but I'm still uploading a few of the files. I have tapes for '86 and '88 and one early 80's year on vinyl (which is the BEST because it has Superman on it... I just need a turntable!)

Please spread the word to other band alumni. I have posted it on Facebook too.

If you have tapes and/or CD's and/or vinyl from other years you'd like included, please send me a PM or email me and we'll work out a way to get them up there!!

I remember Jay Jackson yelling into the megaphone "GLO-REEE-AAAAAA" to help us get it... :-)

Nice start to my Monday in the office! Satisfaction and Wipeout were two of my favorites from that era. My next two favorite songs to hear in Anderson were School's Out and the Gladiators theme song. . .

So within the last week have have had an old-school FMB over-dose (in a good way).

I just saw Rabbit last week at the DSJ band camp, treated Bonnie Bess's lawn on Monday, treated Chief's lawn Tuesday, then loggedon here to find three years worth of FMB music from before I even knew how to toot a horn. Crazy nuts.

Another note, we played that version of Birth of the Blues my freshman year. The 1984 version may have been slightly better :oops:

The first night game at DLP ever [against the Zips.] 32K I believe was the attendance that evening. That was a truly awesome halftime show.

So Grant,
Is the '84 album available for listening now? If so, how do we get access to it? :(

Sorry... been a LITTLE busy getting this site back up and running correctly... the songs ARE uploaded, but I haven't put a webpage in front of them like the others yet. If you want to download the 1984 songs though, here's the listing from the server:

http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/downloads/FMB/1984/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The whole roster from that year is here:

And yes, I remember Megan.

I remember her. She was a good person and an excellent musician. She was also a squad leader if memory serves.

Grant, I hope you don't mind but I linked the download page onto the BGSU Band Alumni Society facebook page.

I can delete if you wish me to.
