Re: Ambulance???
I'm assuming that's what happened. One of the clarinets just tanked while we were playing the first Chicago tune. I haven't heard anything since it happened, so I'd also assume she's alright. She probably just needed some water and time to cool off. (not sure if she marched halftime/pregame though)

Re: Ambulance???
From what I've been told (as I was in the stadium during the pre-game concert getting the pizza and such for the band ready...or trying to anyway) there were two clarinet players that I guess passed out, and as far as I know of, the one was taken to the Hospital, and I'm assuming the other was taken care of. It could have been either they locked their knees while standing, were dehydrated, or both considering they were both Freshman. I hope both are okay and have recovered, and maybe one of the other current bandos on here knows more about it than I do and can let ya know if they are fine.

Re: Ambulance???
There was just one clarinet player that passed out. It was determined that she should make a trip to the hospital to make sure that she was okay since some vitals were irregular. She did not return to the game unfortunately, though after that ordeal I'm sure she needed rest.
Though the speed the ERs go now-a-days the game might have been over by the time she was taken care of lol.
She was able to sit up, she seemed to be suffering from heat stroke and extreme dehydration. Thusly, she should be fine by this time, just needed time to recoup.
Thank you for your concern, it is appreciated,

From experience, those uniforms get really got. Hydration and food are a must during game days. It is far too easy to dehydrate when you are covered with wool in 70+ degree weather. I think any former mascots can also back that one up.

Re: Ambulance???
I found out that the other one that I thought fainted was just someone who I guess got too hot and dehydrated and had to sit down. Hopefully both are recovered though and well-hydrated!!
