Thought you all might like a little chuckle whilst studying for your finals.

Check out these pages from two programs I won off of an eBay auction.

Seriously??? That is what we used to march?? From the sounds of the 64 program, that show was startings of corps style marching versus military. Wow, it's amazing of how far the times, and the band has come in 40 years. It's still really cool that you found those, really interesting. It's another example of the rich history of our band program.

One of the programs has a shot of Pregame in it... I'll get it scanned in eventually, but there's a lot of good band stuff!!

How about Mr. Marini though, huh???

He's defintly a lot younger, but he's still the same guy we had here last year for homecoming. It's really weird and cool. Thanks for finding and posting them Ziggy!

Well......That Lou Marini was here last year for Homecoming, but he didn't really have much to do with the FMB as age is starting to catch up with him. However, Lou Marini's son, Lou Marini Jr., was the one that was in the Blues Brothers, and played with the Wind Ensemble and FMB last year. Hope this clears a few things up, Jeff

Um....the entire show was dedicated to him because he arranged all of our school songs. I seriously hope that by saying not having much to do with the FMB that you really meant he didn't really participate with us when he was here. However, he did dot his "i"!!!!

Jeff,
No, I know that Lou Sr is the one in the picture, and is the one that we dedicated the show to. I also know that Lou Jr is the one we played with. I also know that Sr is in the picture. Despite popular belief I do have a clue what I'm talking about. Chomic

Ok, apparently I'm "special." Yes, I know what contributions Mr. Marini Sr. made to the FMB. Thats all, Jeff

We're you ever as - uh - perky as goldilocks there? And I"m not talking middle school, Delaine.

And I really don't think I could pull off the "All-American Boy" look, do you?

Besides, batons are for pussies.

I couldn't help but notice your signature. You're a mellow. Mellophone players make FINE drum majors. I speak from experience. Baker rocks! If you don't believe me, I'm sure our AZZ.com admin can tell you that I was the best collegiate male drum major clad in orange and brown he ever had!

We had a span of 9 years of ex-mellow DMs. All were good.
Pat Pierson 86?-88
Me 89-92 (actually, Delaine made me look good because everyone was looking at her and not me) :D
Melinda (hubba-hubba) Dolence 92-93?

If you do make it, let me know. Give me a PM or something. Delaine and I are going to teach you to strut.
