Is there any possibility of an FMB CD this year? I have Pride and Frontiers, and I was hoping there would be one this year too.

Dr. Hayward has sent an email to the returning veterans letting us know that the Cd's will be ready within a few weeks. The FMB is also hoping to release another cd, like Pride, to be sold in the bookstore. It will include school songs, Frontiers, as well as material from this season. :D

As the alum who "pushed" for about 6-7 YEARS to get us to do a FMB CD, I'm thrilled to hear that another one is "in the works"... got tired of hearing about how "we can't afford the royalties" excuses that we'd had for that time...When the alum assoc. agreed to help underwrite the project, we got PRIDE... and the Frontiers CD was a pleasant surprise to me.

We need to keep this up on a yearly basis IMO; no reason that the OSU's of the world should have 10-15 CD's available while we HAD none.

It's going to be made available to the public, is what Charles said. Not on one of the annual CDs, but on a compilation CD like the "Pride" CD.

Charles says a lot of things...knowing when to believe him is the key. I have just stopped believing him all together now :D

I wasn't stating the TRUTH of his assertion.... I was just clarifying what it was he said, as Chomic seemed a bit confused. :P

Actually, I received the Frontiers CD from the music dept....was a complete surprise to me...when I emailed a query about it, I was told that I must be "on someone's list"....otherwise, it's not available to the public...Feel good that my efforts resulting in PRIDE were recognized by someone in the music dept., thus resulting in getting the Frontiers CD.

I downloaded Frontiers via a Yahoo group that an alum had set up. They posted a link on the old Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba. The group doesn't exist anymore, though.
