MARK YOUR CALENDAR => SAT., MARCH 12th HOCKEY GAME
Based on the responses received, I'm pleased to report we will be playing for the game on Sat., March 12th.
Please be in the stands in the NW corner of the Ice Arena by 6 p.m. this Saturday. Doors to the general public open at that same time, but you should be able to enter before that if you want to set up/warm up. You can use the entrance by the new addition on the NW side of the Arena. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Please wear an orange or white top [any BGSU clothing is fine] and khakis. Brian Myers '97 & '02 will be directing us. Ticket information for family/friends can be obtained toll-free at 1-877-BGSUTICKET or at www.bgsufalcons.com. The section the band utilizes is general admission, so family/friends should be able to sit near you.
Please help spread the word. If you're a current student and know of fellow band members who will be returning from spring break early, bring them along! If you're an alum, bring along a friend! It would be great to have a large band for this important game.
Thank you for supporting the Falcon Icers and the band program.

It was great to see everyone who made it tonight even though the result was not what we wanted. It is good to know we were able to step up to the plate and do the job. Thanks to Jeff Rader for organizing this. Thanks to Dr. Hayward and Ryan (sorry but I can't spell his last name) for all of your help tonight and getting everything ready. And thank you to all of those who came to play after playing at the women's victory in Cleveland earlier today. I look forward to seeing all of you in the fall when I will march in my first Alumni Band!!! But after tonight I will start practicing about three months ahead of time
THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

Good Job, and THANKS!!
Thanks A-Band and current Band members who played last night! It was great to have the band play at nearly every stop in play! Atmosphere was MUCH better in the rink with the band doing it's thing!! Even though the game outcome sucked, the band helped keep the crowd loud and supportive to the very end! GOOD JOB!! And thanks for coming!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Thank You for Your Extra Efforts on Saturday
In case you played in the band and I didn't have your e-mail address...
THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXTRA EFFORTS ON SATURDAY
Thank you for supporting the Falcon Icers in their 1st Round CCHA Tournament game last night, Saturday, March 12th. Having a band in attendance added greatly to the atmosphere of the game - you sounded great! I received many positive comments from alums and members of the Athletic Department about our performance.
Special thanks to Dr. Carol Hayward and Ryan Nowlin '00 & '04 for all of their help [including hand-delivering the music to the Ice Arena as they returned from the MAC Women's Tournament Championship game in Cleveland -- congratulations to Coach Curt Miller and the women's basketball team for winning the tournament for the first time since 1994], Brian Myers '97 & '02 for directing us and for providing instruments and additional musicians, Matt Lyons for helping spearhead this effort, several current BGSU students [some of whom had just played in Cleveland but were still willing to join us for one more game], and Joe Foley in the Athletic Department for all his assistance.
While this was a little more of a "rush" project than usual, many alums and current students really stepped up in a very short period of time so a band could be put together. Thanks again.
