To those of you on here going out to Seattle to play at the Womans Tourney, good luck. Just two pieces of advice:

1) Remember, Dramimine is your friend

2) Do whatever the nice man with the automatic weapon at airport security wants

Seriously, have a safe trip and good luck!!!

Down with #2!!! I'll take his weapon and use it on him  But thanks...it should be a fun trip! Maybe when/if we make the Sweet 16, you can go with us. Half the people have Easter gigs so we will need to recruit if we take a band!

I remember going to Seattle for the BG-Washington football game waaaaay back in 1986. We made about a bazillion connections and took the Red Eye on the return trip. Miserable. But not as miserable as the game.

Here's the the Falcons making this trip memorable in a more positive fashion!

oooo oooo ooo! PICK ME! I'LL GLADLY BE RECRUITED!!!!! I'm gonna be bored this weekend without all of you going to Seattle. I think at least 75% of the people I hang out with are going. *sadness* Oh well...so long as I get phone calls! Good luck!

Speaking of phone calls, has anyone heard when the band is supposed to be getting back from their tour on the West Coast?

I talked to L-Core, Lexie, and Kate and they will be flying out around 5pm Seattle time. They chartered a plane to Toledo, so they should be back in BG around midnight-ish. I MISS MY FRIENDS!

Rumor has it they're in the air right now - Not sure how credible the source is but those I've tried to reach on their cell phone I haven't gotten through to - meaning, either they all forgot to charge their phones - or they're in the air and don't have them on :P

haha, oh yes... it was great arriving in seattle and finding out that my trumpet didn't arrive with me... then borrowing a trumpet part way through the game from washington. lol, good thing the flight was delayed since my trumpet didn't show up until 11:30am the next day when we were supposed to leave at 8:30am... stupid chicago airport.

It's nice that the Washington band was willing to lend you guys instruments... it wasn't only the trumpet, but the bass drum too, right?

You know, it takes a special kind of airline to misplace a BASS DRUM. You would kinda think that they see all of these instruments going to the same place they would add that very large, black, cylindrical behemoth of a case and not let it fly into Philadelphia.

you just can't make this stuff up, can you?

Major props to the Washington band. Very, very cool of them to help you all out. Were there thank you emails sent?
