"Old" recordings on CD?

I came across my FMB tapes last night and was listening to the 1990 recording in the car during my morning commute this morning (my one-year-old seemed to love the drum cadence). Anyway, I can't remember if we had this discussion before, but is there a way to get the recordings from "back when" on CD? My tapes are a little worse for wear. I would be looking for the three years I marched... 1989, 1990, 1991. Any info appreciated.

I asked recording services - they don't have archives back that far (early 90s).

He was going to check for the 1991 recording at the library and get back to me.
