It doesn't matter what I type here because none of you are going to stick to topic anyway.

Why stay on topic? It's more fun this way! :D

I played at TubaSummer over the weekend, and we played Beer Barrel. Let me say it sucked. I kept hearing our arrangment in my head and wanting to play that, but noooo. Also it was in the middle of the concert. WTF? Nothing comes after beer barrel. I had to physically stop myself from getting up and leaving. Other than that it went pretty good.

When did beer barrels become kegs?

So I was at the Cubs-Reds game yesterday in Cinci. My Cubbies won 9-4, and I got to visit the "new" park for the first time.

Let me tell ya, we NEED more ADD-based posts. I could get used to this. :D

Anyone ever see the musical Rent? I like the soundtrack but I've never seen the production.*

*Notice a pattern, folks?

The music for Rent is really good. Did you know they are doing a hollywood movie of it?

Hopefully it is decent and compares to the Broadway production of it because I've only heard good things about that.

Yeah, I saw it on Broadway back in the summer of 2000. Loved the show, but I was sitting in the 3'rd row right in front of the speakers. That was a MIGHTY loud show.

BTW, Jackie. Lets not even start to go into what yo Momma's been doing recently :!:

ALSO, is anyone here know of anyone from Grove City, OH?

i've seen in not one, not twice, but thrice. two touring productions (once in cleveland, once in akron), and once in broadway. good show. great music. and i can't wait for the film, which features many of the folks who orginated the roles on broadway.

"I was walking down the street with my friend and he said "I hear music" As though there's another way you can take it in. Your not special. That's how I recieve it too. I tried to taste it, but it did not work."

James Swearingen used to be the Band Director at Grove City. No idea as to who the band director is out there now.
