The FMB did a fantastic job today!! I menitioned to several of you guys that you sounded great (which isn't easy for the style of music) and you looked great too (even if you only had about 6 sets)! I'll have pictures coming from this weekend hopefully within the week. Sorry I don't have any pics of the dance. I was too busy laughing. Not in a "Ha ha, that's the funniest thing I have ever seen" way, but rather "I can't believe the band is doing something like that" kind of deal. It did look good en mass, and once agian you did a great job. See you at the Toledo game!

thanks Chomic!! It's really nice to hear that the show went over so well...it makes me feel better at least! It's just one of those things that when you've had such a frustrating week w/people, the show, and band in general. Who knew that a 10 set show would be more difficult and more aggrivating than something way more challenging?! You wouldn't believe all the drama we had over an 8 to 5 step, making the lines straight, and moving around...it was crazy! I'm really pleased to hear the good crowd response, though...it makes all the drama this week seem like nothing ever happened. Thanks again guys!

Well.... a whole show full of nothing but company fronts. Think about it that way, and the drama and frustration immediately become understandable.

umm...Yes I would. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (4 of them actually :D )

Yes one week wonders are a bitch to prepare, both in terms of time and in "x" factor I can't really think of what it is. that 'working your ass off at something really difficult, only to have it turn out wonderful' kinda feeling. That thing that makes marching band so unique, fun and interesting.

Anywho...good job once agian. Now I only have two questions. 1. When is Sounds of the Stadium, and 2. can someone order me a CD?

I saw the frustration maybe... But the drama? Not so much...

our line at the end had massive drama about where 8 steps was, and who was right and this and that...it was just a big pain in the ass because no one wanted to compromise, even after they started "guiding to the outside".

I think the "drama" had less to do with learning the sets, and more to do with people being unhappy about the hip-hop, the dance, and the lack of real drill. Basically, people seemed to forget what one-week-wonders are like, so they were mad that this show wasn't "up to par," so to speak.

Well someone thought the show was up to par! Freddie and Frieda's away message on AIM right now says "The band was UNFALCONBELIEVABLE!" :D

Honestly, I thought the show was going to be a total flop, and that was after I heard the music and saw the dance at the field house. But it wasn't at all, it was a good show! You guys sounded really good and the dance actually looked pretty good when everyone was doing it. My absolute favorite part was the percs yelling "Yeah!" "What?" and "Ok!" at the beginning of Yeah. Classic perc humor, I love it. So yeah, it was a one week wonder and there wasn't much drill, but you guys pulled it off. Congrats!

They also said, "It's morphin' time!" at the beginning of "One Week." Ask one of the percs about the story behind that.
