In BGSU's Charting Our Future Strategic Plan, three universities were chosen as comparator examples, or schools that BG would compare itself to as part of the future planning process.
Those schools are Northern Arizona, Ball State and Illinois State.
Do you think that these are good examples as to where BG is currently and where it wants to be?

Yes. In terms of academic and administrative profiles, these are very comparable universities. They have been used for comparative sake for numerous departments throughout BGSU for years. I actually did some comparative work for Dining Services, and you would be surprised at how much we have in common with them.
