They have gone completely insane!
I just came from campus. There is no way that they are ready for classes to start next week. Half the campus is either being torn down our built up. You can't cross ridge street at any point from the start of the Wolfe center to Hayes hall. Parking will be a nightmare. The lot on the northwest corner is now a future residence hall. Lot 6 is the future Stroh center. The faculty lot by Anderson Arena is currently closed/inaccessible (which might be fixed soon...might). There are sidewalks missing everywhere. The list goes on and on. It is a nightmare.
I am glad that I am done with college...at least for a while. I would not want to be doing a mission impossible drill every time I had to get from one class to the next.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.....

Subject: Ridge St., Willard, lots now open
We are happy to announce that Ridge Street, from behind Hayes Hall to
Mercer Road, and Willard Drive, from Ridge to Poe Road, are now open
and ready for use.
Also, Lots N and 14, O and Bowen-Thompson Student Union North (east of
Overman Hall) now open for parking.
For move-in (Aug. 20 and 21), the entire length of Ridge Street will
be open, as will the lane between Jerome Library and the Fine Arts
Center, connecting to Lots N and 14.
Beginning next week, the portion of Ridge from Willard to Mercer will
be closed for the completion of construction on Ridge. Drivers needing
access to the above lots may use Willard.
Also next week, waterline work will begin between the library and the
Fine Arts Center. That lane will then be permanently closed to all
but emergency vehicles.
At the same time, landscaping will commence at the intersection of
Willard and Ridge and along Ridge.
Pedestrians will not be able to cross Ridge Street between Willard and
Mercer in the construction zone. They may cross at the pedestrian
crosswalk at Mercer and Ridge or anywhere along Ridge west of the
construction zone. Please plan your walking routes accordingly.
All construction zones will be fenced. Please do not trespass, as it
is not only dangerous, but illegal! All are reminded to exercise
caution along Ridge Street as we complete the improvements

The only issue is that some of the lots they have listed are not open yet due to construction. To make matters worse, I have an exam I have to take 1:00-5:00 tomorrow afternoon, and I got an email from BGSU parking & traffic stating lot closures for move-in. Essentially every parking lot remotely close to campus will be closed for move-in. I am waiting on an email reply to my parking question, "Where should I park?"
I debated about saying 'Suck it up! Use that BGSU degree of yours and think about where you can park" but then I thought you were joking. I didn't realize you were serious.
