small closet fire in rodgers last night
guess he had a lava lamp and caught shoes and clothes in closet on fire

I had intended to post about this because I was in the area at the time, but I was not motivated enough to do so.

Hopefully all the freshmen I had to deal with last year now understand why the RAs get so uptight about certain appliances and where they're placed.

It was indeed being kept in the closet according to all the accounts I've read, which makes me think the kid thought he was being slick and hiding it from the RA staff. Looks like he messed that one up pretty badly.

It was indeed being kept in the closet according to all the accounts I've read, which makes me think the kid thought he was being slick and hiding it from the RA staff. Looks like he messed that one up pretty badly.

yeah there was a little thing in today's bgnews about it. When I first read it I got it as he had it on in his closet for which I was confused. LOL
but today it said he put it in his closet when it was still warm and threw clothes over it to hid it because he thought they were not allowed...
