I just stumbled across this and thought I'd share it. The views from 90's bring back memories from when my brother was here! Pretty neat to see how things have changed though.

Thanks for posting this, Metz! I haven't seen this page in a couple of years, but everytime I look through it I find it more and more fascinating.

Unless my eyes do decieve me, it would appear that there were lights for the old stadium according to this picture from the 1950's.

Why would we have them in the fifties at the old stadium and not have them again at DLP until the 1990's? Either way, kind of cool to see.

Yes....there were lights at the old stadium. We played a few night games then and BGHS also played games there.

When the new stadium was built those light standards were donated to BGHS and illuminated Bobcat Stadium on Poe Road until they were replaced within the last 5-6 years.

I find it pretty discouraging that our own archives are factually incorrect:
