The Party is Comin' To Town...I think

So I graduated from BG in '94 (BAC, theatre major, Myle's Pizza Waitress) and my sister attended BG for two years a few years later.

Now, she's gettin' married and she wants her bachelor party to be held in swingin' BG. I can't believe it. I offered to take her to Vegas. I said, "bring all your friends to Chicago and we'll party", I suggested Toronto. No, she wanted to go to BG.

Anyway, I'm hitting a couple of stumbling blocks in my planning.

1) is there cab service anywhere in BG that would let me reserve like a van for eight ladies to transport us from the hotel and back? I don't ever remember seeing a cab in BG, but I know none of us should drive after our night out.

2) SHe wants to go dancing. I know Uptown is a dance spot, but back when I went there, Cassidy's was the big dance place (it's now BW3). Is there anywhere else CURRENTLY that has dancing?

Any suggestions, warnings of new bars to hit or stay away from? She wants to dance, go to Pollyeyes (she's an idiot, Myle's is the place to be) and drink cheap.

I haven't been back in BG in ... oh 18 years or so, so no clue whether there are cabs or where to go. However, I am frankly surprised no single dudes on this board have offered their services as a designated driver free of charge. Drunken bachelorette party attendees are easy pickings.

Hope you & your sister have a wonderful time!

Ahhhhh, yes. Boone's Farm Kountry Kwencher, about a buck a bottle at the old Racketeers.
