"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Grant, The way this was originally worded, I thought they were going to take OUT the trees...then our neighbors to the north could've REALLY had a good time... (How many trees do THEY have, by the way?)

Agreed. When I read the headline, I also thought they were going to take trees OUT!! Glad to see I was wrong. What they are doing is VERY COOL!!!Class of 61 wrote:Grant, The way this was originally worded, I thought they were going to take OUT the trees...then our neighbors to the north could've REALLY had a good time... Never understood the one tree thing for BG. I guess from I-75 the view is pretty unimpeded but the central campus seems fairly leafy. UT has many more trees-the Ottawa River (think Poe Ditch cubed) is entirely lined with trees and there are a number of heavily forested areas, particularly behind Parks Tower and the sorority/frat houses inthe old south Campus. Not sure how long its been since you've seen UT campus '61 but its really pretty attractive for the most part.
