Summer session just began today on campus, and I noticed that they have fencing up around the southwest corner of Mac. It looks like they will soon be starting construction on the new dining hall.

Seems like an odd place to put a dining hall. What's going to happen to the old dining hall off of MacN?

I was thinking the same thing. Does anyone know of a rendering of this project to look at? So they are removing part of MAC then?

I believe they are taking down the south half of Mac West. I couldn't find any renderings.

Has any construction started on the site of Rodgers and the frat houses yet? The webcam seems to be down or off. I saw the area was completely cleared, but after that I lost the ability to view the webcam.

I don't think any construction has started yet. But this past weekend there was a suspicious fire in a construction trailer on the site.

On the Northwest Residence Hall cam, it looks like just to the right of the image they must have cleared out that grass/tree space next to it. There also appears to be something sitting there as well. Can anyone tell me what that space is? How far over did they go with it? Also, on the South Central Residence Hall cam, it appears they have moved the fencing out farther. Any idea what might be going on with that? Is there more construction being stretched out farther around that area? Is looks like there is fencing down the road too next to the library. Any info would be much appreciated.

The fencing has been moved out to block the roads.

There is a LOT of construction taking place on campus this summer.

Lot N/14 (the Anderson Arena/Library lot) is being reconfigured this summer. Not sure what that will look like, but supposedly it is not going to be the same.

They will be widening Ridge St., so access to that area is closed. Essentially, Ridge will be closed just after you pass Kreisher.

Also, they just started de-construction of MacDonald Hall. The southwest corner is almost completely missing. It is quite a sight to see what the dorm looks like with the top corner knocked-off.
