RIP - Dorothy Luedtke

Post by Redwingtom »

She was a retired professor of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from Bowling Green State University. Professor Luedtke earned her baccalaureate degree from BGSU in 1947, and after a brief public school teaching career in Adrian, Mich., she returned to receive her master's degree in 1950.
Professor Luedtke then remained at BGSU for her entire career, where she was the first coach of BGSU's women's volleyball, basketball, swimming, diving and field hockey teams. She was also director of the BGSU women's intramural program from 1955 to 1968.

Wow! What a busy lady! I can't even imagine someone being a coach of even two different teams in today's collegiate athletic world. Another Falcon, flying high!
