Ohio Public Universities Presidential Pay

• Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee received more than $1.3 million in base pay, bonuses and deferred-compensation payouts in 2009-10, and $1.8 million when retirement and other costs of employment, such as housing and car allowances, are added, according to The Chronicle. His compensation package was worth nearly $1.6 million in 2008-09.

• Cleveland State University President Ronald M. Berkman, $516,300

• Miami University President David C. Hodge, $497,400

• University of Cincinnati President Gregory H. Williams, $490,415

• University of Toledo President Lloyd A. Jacobs, $453,406

• Wright State University President David R. Hopkins, $447,653

• Bowling Green State University President Carol A. Cartwright, $412,500

Yes (according to H20). I thought Birdman was to blame, but since everyone seems to have him on their personal IGNORE lists, I haven't made my thoughts known. I'm still trying to figure out why Birdman moved this to Website Administration instead of letting it alone where I originally placed it. 8-)

Pay the woman the least amount of money (of the ten reporting salaries).

I doubt the Central State and Shawnee State presidents make more than Dr. Cartwright.

The PD had an article on this last week...there appears to be a big difference between actual SALARY and TOTAL COMPENSATION.... in the article I saw, Cartright was ranked about 7th or so out of the larger amount of schools listed on this post.

One factor COULD enter into this...remember, that she was probably drawing a pension from her days at KSU, and might've been willing to take a bit less to do the BG job.
