Just read that former Central Michigan player Dan Roundfield drowned while vacationing in Aruba, apparently while helping to save his wife.
He led the Chips to a MAC championship in 1974-75, breaking the hearts of Falcon hoops fans as they beat us in overtime in Anderson arena, winning the championship on the last day of the season. He went on to play for the Pistons, Hawks, Pacers and Bullets and was a three-time NBA All Star. One of those guys who was 6-foot-8, but 7 foot with Afro. A great player who could jump out of the gym.
