Sounds like we could have a new AD by this weekend.
They brought seven into interview and narrowed it down to three that are on campus this week. I hear Dr Mazey is leaving for Europe soon, so we can expect someone to be named before she leaves this weekend or early next week.

As long as we don't hire anyone from Rutgers we should be alright.....

I truly, truly, truly hope they do the right thing.

Of the three finalists, one seems like a good fit while the other two are glaringly, stunningly unqualified. Their backgrounds are unlike any other AD hired by a MAC school in recent memory and I'd be utterly shocked if the board even approved them as they do not even meet the criteria as outlined in the job description.

I'm not going to sound the alarm bell prematurely, but this is a no-brainer on who to pick and I hope they realize it.

An assistant at a school smaller than us that doesn't even field a football team and someone from Division III. What was once laughed off as a joke might actually become our reality.

It'stheJourney was right to be skeptical about the firm. They basically stole our money because the folks above shouldn't have even have made it past the screening process based on the job description itself. The lighthearted barbs were largely meant in jest, but at my most pessemistic I never actually imagined the committee would pick people so ill-prepared for the challenges faced by this institution.

I'm still not convinced we're not being punked and someone isn't going to jump out laughing with a camera crew.
