The meeting where they presented their report was rather interesting. Nothing seemed too entirely drastic. Some things that they suggested will anger certain constitutent groups, but you'll never get past that.
Cutting back on Gen Ed courses will help to cut those classes that have little or no interest. We actually have several courses listed that NEVER run. BGSU is actually in the process of recertifying the Gen Ed. courses, requiring that they meet new criteria. That will serve to trim down the number of offerings and ensuring that the courses that are offered are worthy of the listing.
