Identity Color Change?

Post by TalonsUpPuckDown »

This is likely to be a very dumb question, but it looks to me like the university changed the "color" used for orange. The new "orange" has more red in it. I prefer the old orange, but the marketing people never asked me for my opinion. How long ago did it change? Was it recent or was it a while back and I'm just getting around to noticing it? Why would they do that? Is this version of orange cheaper to produce on uniforms?

Here's a link to an archived Identity Colors page from the University web site showing the old formula: https://archive.ph/peXf4

Great catch. I didn't realize this happened. I have no idea why they would change it.

I prefer the old orange as well.

It seems like every year the orange changes. It goes from a burnt orange to camo orange in a blink of an eye.
