Horizontal Scroll w/long links

Hey, anyway to have links that are eight miles long wrap around to another line? When someone posts a long link the whole thread for that page then needs to be scrolled left and right to read long sentences.
See the "That took long enough" thread in the football forum for an example.
Thanks!!

phpBB sees long links as one "word" and won't break them up. That's why I encourage the use of tinyurl as Saxy has posted or just using the URL button in the posting text entry box (row of buttons, far right...)

Can you please explain the correct use of the URL button? And for that matter, what are the Quote, Code, List and List= buttons used for?

It's correct use is to shorten links so you don't have horizontal scrolling with long links.
But seriously... when you've got a link to put in, click the URL button, then inside that bracket, type an equals sign and the URL you want to post, then after the bracket, type the text to appear as a link, then click the URL button again to close it.
In the end, you'll have something like [.url=
http://www.bgsufalcons.com]Official Site[./url] (without the periods) that will appear like this:
Official Site

The Code button is if you want to put "code" up on the site like
Code: Select all
The text for your link
whatever you type inbetween the 'code' tags will show up as typed.
As far as the list thing, it makes a
numbered or bulleted list
