Bots on the site?

So as I'm roaming through this site today, I've noticed that there are 4 bots as registered users on the site. Their user names (as shown on the bottom of the site are: Ask Jeeves [Bot], Google Adsense [Bot], Majestic-12 [Bot], and Yahoo [Bot]
I was just wondering if this is something you've done Grant or what the deal is.

These are the "crawlers" that come to the site from search engines to index content. They view pages just like a user would, so phpBB3 allows you to "recognize" them for what they are and filter them out of your page view statistics and the like.
