Changes in avatar settings

Uploaded avatars can now be up to 150x150 pixels in demension, but you can no longer remotely link an avatar from another website.
This was done to help control the file size and shape of avatars, to make them a little more consistent (some people have REALLY BIG avatars that mess with the tables in the forum), and so bandwidth isn't being "stolen" from the site the images are linked from.
The file size is still set to 6K.

So for those of us that aren't very bright in the computer world, what do we have to do to get an avatar set up?

Heck, Freak, I even figured this out. Find an avatar you like, right click it and save it on your computer. Then, upload it to the avatar section of the profile page.
See you on the dark side of the moon.

Click on "Profile" from the top of the page (right under the MCB trophy

).
At the bottom of the profile page, you'll see the avatar control panel, that's where you may upload and select your avatar.
Let me know if you still have troubles, I'll try to provide more detail.

What I wish, is that I could upload a few avatars and select from them as I chose, rather than have to have them online to upload.
I might even be in favor of a public pool system to let everybody play with the avatars.

That would be kind of neat. However, if anyone really wanted someone elses avatar, all they have to do is right click on it and hit save as. Save it to their desktop and upload it on here. That seems like a hassle for just one little picture though.
