AZZ is in desperate need of a moderator or else this site might as well die. It has already lost many of the long-time participants due to the lack of control.

I would have to agree with that. Being a moderator isn’t time consuming. Whoever currently owns the board could talk to somebody that is a longtime poster on here about taking on that position. I’m fact, have a couple kids.

I think I might have been a moderator here years ago.

It would probably be better for someone else to take this on at this point. But I'm not saying I wouldn't do it.

I wish I knew who we could ask about getting a moderator. I honestly don't know who owns the board at this point.

It was Bassdrummin but I don’t know if they even actually look at it. I’m tempted to just start my own message board to start anew.

There is a lot of tradition here. It would be nice to make this place better and exterminate the pests. But I understand the instinct.

It seems like a passive income situation for whomever owns it. Throw a ton of ads up and forget about it.

I see Grant just posted for the first time in a couple of years. I'm hoping he can get this place turned around somehow.

I think the logical alternative is https://csnbbs.com/forum-477.html. There are a number of good boards over there for other programs, including several in the MAC. But I'm willing to wait a few days and see what happens here.

I'm guessing nobody else has an update.

I reached out to the site owner bassdrummin on Facebook. Message is still not opened I'm not sure why that is but he did have a post this month so might have previewed it and ignored it or has a setting not to receive messages from non friends. His full name was mentioned by ziggyzoomba in a comment so I don't know him personally just took a shot.

He did login in here on September. However if neither moderator are approving new members I have to agree with the other posts here that we're waiting around for death which sucks because I enjoy this place

I’ve considered creating a new site that would basically be an updated copy of this site. Would hate to lose the history here, but there’s gotta be better management with some growth. If folks here would be interested I’ll look more into it.

I'd be interested and would help if possible. However I don't know the first thing about computer science or web design

Our newest member joined two years ago. Without a shakeup this site will die out. I get message boards im most cases are dying but I'd rather come here than follow a Facebook group.
