MS Walk thanks!!

Post by ZiggyZoomba »

Just a quick thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2005 MS Walk, whether you chipped in a donation, you sent an email wishing us well, or if you participated yourself... it was a fantastic event!!

I helped the NWOhio Chapter of the National MS Society this year by helping to get the BGSU hockey team as well as the BGSU women's basketball teams signed up and involved in the walk! Both teams showed up in full-force and represented the school in an incredible way! Special thanks go to Jordan Sigalet and Coach Brandi Poole for getting everything together on their ends.

I've uploaded some photos to my site of the event... the best one being this sea of Falcon athletes making their way up "Stadium Drive" towards the GlassBowl at UT. Awesome sight to behold!!

Great to hear everything went so well. I wish UT had a hockey team, it'd be fun to kick the crap out of them every year.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
