When the heck is the FSU game?

Post by Bleeding Orange »

I could have sworn that I saw earlier tonight that it was at 8:30 tonight? WBGU is playing music right now and BGSUFalcons.com is down. What is going on? Bueler? Bueler?

CBS has the score at 0-0, but still no start of the game. maybe the first game ran late.

collegesports.com also has it listed as an 8:30 start, yet to go, IAJ may be right about the early game running long.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's a Gametracker for this one, and I can't get WBGU's feed at work anyway.

EDIT:
Even worse news via collegesports.com, they have the 6pm game listed with no score, either. We may have to wait for the carrier pigeons to get back before we have much to go on with this one...

I can't get BG's site to load period.

Hey Lyons, you want to give me a call periodically with the score every now and then if you can get it? My friend and I are getting our drink on in celebration of...well...drinking! :D

I'm on 105.7 and I live in BG and it says 8:50 on my computer and we'll have the tip in about another minute or two . . . Todd might be alone on this one.

It took Todd all of four or five sentences to mention Brian Moten and blaming his situation on the "NCAA, similar to Keith McLeod" . . .

Actually they are much, much different . . .

Nick Wilson has asked for a release from his scholarship to return to NJ, citing personal reasons. Todd reminds us that Nick's father passed earlier this year. Good luck in his future endeavors and much sympathy and thoughts to the Wilson family.

It took Marschall 90 seconds to pick up the first one . . . Floyd two turnovers already . . . and Moon and Dusan are in!

Todd's alone? Was the city installing new parking meters today or something??

Sounds like a rough start. From watching FSU vs. Purdue earlier this year, if BG doesn't right the ship in a hurry, it could be a long night. And then they'll get to halftime.

6-0 FSU, 15:52 left. BG has tried three shots, all 3 ptrs, and have three turnovers, all FSU steals.

Must....control...basketball....

5:00 minutes in and Dusan has as many minutes as fouls (3)

Oh, and the live stats have Dusan with 2 fouls, not three... :?:

14-5 at the 12 min TO... BG ball coming back. Samarco with all five so far.

Dusan should have three, I pretty sure . . . but I might be wrong . . . they may have switched one of them . . .

12:00 left . . . in the first half

Florida State Criminoles 14
Martin Samarco 5

If FSU is in the bonus on the next foul, that SHOULD mean Dusan with 3

Two separate FT Offensive rebounds by FSU where they scored on both Off. Rebounds and was fouled again on the second. That's inexcusable. The 3 ball is keeping us alive.

just following the live stats, it sounds like we're getting KILLED on the defensive boards, especially after they miss free throws. They're not cashing in on our fouls with foul shots, but unfortunately, they've got at least two, maybe three putbacks off of missed FT's.

And the stats have Moten and Lefeld with 1 foul each, Dusan, Marschall and Soler with 2 apiece.-*
