I forgot about that! I will be rooting for UTEP...

It's funny I always go into these bowl & OOC games with good intentions wanting to root for the conference mates. Then when I start watching the game I just cannot do it and end up rooting against them anyways

Traitorous? Nah. I haven't liked Toledo for years. The only thing that makes it tough is the memory of sitting at the MCB in '03 with a Toledo grad friend of mine and watching him cheer for BG.

Aside from him, screw 'em. If they win, good for the MAC, but I'll cross that bridge if we come to it some day.

Go UTEP. Beat the Rockets.

The better MAC teams do in bowls the better draw they get. The better draw, the better leverage for another bowl tie-in.

So, yes, UT's performance will help the MAC as a whole. It's about the money, but it's also about the performance on the field.

Toledo on the other hand. If the world needs an enema, i know where to stick the hose. If they never won another football game (or any game for that matter) I'd be fine with it. It's Toledo, ewwwwwww! I don't think I could cheer for the those $#@%i *%&#$@ without vomiting - seriously.

I also am on the "GO UTEP" bandwagon! I wouldn't cheer for Toledo for anything!! I agree with the person that mentioned recruiting...although I personally don't have anything against Akron. Hopefully the Rockets will do their usual bowl choke and loose!! Probably won't even watch.

Well said....I hate to root for "them" but I am a MAC fan and want the MAC to do well.

I get it, most of you want the MAC to be embarrassed. In large part, conferences are judged based on how their members do in bowls.
