1st-ever battle of the Falcons?
Notre Dame of Ohio is also the Falcons. Have we ever played them before? Have we ever played Air Force?

I thought of that too, the Falcons vs. the Falcons. This is our first meeting with Notre Dame (Ohio) and I don't think we've ever played the AFA in hoops either.San Diego Falcon wrote:Notre Dame of Ohio is also the Falcons. Have we ever played them before? Have we ever played Air Force?

FWIW,
I believe that Notre Dame (O.) is officially the BLUE FALCONS.....at least they were a few years ago..... last I looked they had a 6-2 record, so they might not be the softie that people envision, though it seems like BG is finally starting to come around as players get healthier.

Can anyone tell me where Notre Dame of Ohio is???? I didn't know there was one.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I think we figured out it's in a suburb of Cleveland.Falcon Fanatic wrote:Can anyone tell me where Notre Dame of Ohio is???? I didn't know there was one.
"I don't believe I can name a coach, anywhere, anytime, anyhow, who did it better than Doyt Perry."

when i first heard we were playing them i was confused because I was like that is an all girls school, how is BG men's team playing them. But I read a little history and they first admited men in 2001. So the men teams are pretty new. Also looking I just see on the website it says falcons. so they must just be falcons and not blue falcons
Go Falcons!
