BG signee Laura Bugher of Lutheran HS in Marion Co. is having an excellent senior year so far. The team is 9-2 with both losses to much larger schools. The last two outings were at a holiday tournament with Bugher getting 20 in a loss to a school from Evansville. She followed that up with 16 pints and 10 rebounds in a victory over the host school Loogootee.
Hannah Baker from Brownsburg, IN (6'3" and a projected redshirt for 2006-07 by herself and the coaching staff) is getting double plus figures a game and rebounding well. She had six blocks in one game. Her team is 5-6 at this point in the season.
Good luck to these young women as their season progresses.
