MAC goes 2-1 in non-conference play today

Post by BGSU33 »

Hey, this was our big weekend of the season as far as non-conference play goes. :? Anyway, with BG beating Temple and Ohio beating Kentucky, the MAC went 2-1 because Idaho beat EMU today. :x That gives the MAC a whopping 3 OOC wins against I-A this year. Better than none I guess.

All in all, I think Ohio's win over Kentucky was the best MAC win against OOC I-A teams. I'd put our win over Temple second and UT's win over Temple third because we beat the Owls a lot worse than UT did.

I'd also put NIU's 23-20 loss at Maryland as the "top miss" for a MAC team.
GO BG!!!

The signs of life in Bobcat country are growing. UK might not be a national power, but its better than Temple. The west coast offense is taking root down there, even if they don't have the talent they'd like to have normally.

Way to go Wildcats!!! We have pretty pitiful team here in Lexington, no matter how great UK was according to the local radio stations after UK knocked off Big 11 powerhouse IU. Still, I can't slight OU for the win, UK is a SEC team that is "supposed" to beat OU. Please, get Rich Brooks out of here, He was horrible as the Rams coach back in the day.
